Hello everyone. I'm Ian Wolf, and welcome to this pilot podcast of This is the News. This is a satirical podcast, covering also sorts of news stories (including those stories that are NOT news) in a somewhat pointless attempt to make the world a slightly better place. This podcast covers such stories as John Prescott stepping down as an MP (with a brief explination of how satire works), the Diana memorial and why celebrating her memory is pointless, a man who got all of his news from the Daily Mail for 28 days, and a small campaign trying to get The Colbert Report shown in Britain. I hope to make this into a full series sometime in the future, but for now, just listen and tell me what you think of my podcast. I apologise in advance for the poor sound quality, as the show was recorded in two parts.
